Anything Goes is a 6 issue limited series that was created by Gary Groth as a benefit to raise money to help with Fantagraphics legal bills, accrued during Michael Fleisher's defamation lawsuit against Fantagraphics Books and Harlan Ellison . The conceit is that the artist and writer contributors were told "anything goes" as far as what their contribution would be.
